What are the classifications of solar inverters?

2022-07-12
Solar inverter output can be divided into single-phase, three-phase and multi-phase solar inverters.

Solar inverter switching circuits can be divided into resonant inverters, fixed-frequency hard-switching inverters and fixed-frequency soft-switching inverters.

The output frequency of solar inverter is divided into power frequency, intermediate frequency and high frequency inverter. The frequency of the power frequency inverter is 50-60Hz, the frequency of the intermediate frequency inverter is 400Hz to KHz, and the frequency of the high frequency inverter is KHz to MHz.

Solar inverter control can be divided into frequency modulated (PFM) inverters and pulse width modulated (PWM) inverters.

The commutation mode of solar inverters can be divided into load commutated inverters and self-commutated inverters.

The waveform of the output voltage or current of the solar inverter is divided into a sine wave inverter and a non-sine wave output inverter.

DC power sources can be divided into voltage source inverters and current source inverters. The voltage source inverter is a near-constant DC voltage, and the output voltage is an alternating square wave; the current source inverter is a near-constant DC current, and the output current is an alternating square wave.
